Pilot Program: Workshops for adolescents

This document contains educational workshops to be carried out in schools in order to educate and help teenagers to become more familiar with the subject of sexual violence, harassment, and gender stereotypes; teaching children and adolescents to defend themselves and to combat gender-based violence; promote a genuine change in people’s attitudes. Therefore, the educational workshops will help adolescents to make conscious choices and to develop mechanisms that allow them to manage these phenomena, contributing to the prevention of gender-based violence linked to stereotypes and the sexualization of women by the media.

The Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Children’s Mental Health What We Know So Far

To prevent and address GBV, the UNDP works on dedicated actions and strategies, which are outlined in 1st section of this briefing note.
