Can I ask a disabled person what they like in bed?
If you talked to an able-bodied person you are flirting with or someone you have been seeing for a while, or someone you simply like, would you ask them what they like in bed? If the answer is yes, know that it should be the same with a disabled person. As long as there is context (meaning a connection) and respect (meaning that you know that this is not a topic that makes them uncomfortable, or you have already discussed with them about it) there is no difference.
Can I take a disabled person out on a date?
Of course, if there is mutual interest, why not? Think about a place with fewer architectural barriers and/or one that accommodates sensory and intellectual needs. It is certainly a great gesture of care to plan ahead for the perfect date. Also, consider asking the interested person what they prefer to do and where; organizing together and abating gender expectations, whereby you have to do everything on your own, will be even better: talk to each other and ask what you prefer to do and where.
Can masturbating cause health problems?
There is no correlation between health and masturbating. There have been many myths and rumors in the past that were meant to create fear around masturbation. But none of these are true: masturbating does not cause blindness or infertility, among others. Masturbation is a natural act with many positive aspects because it allows you to get to know your body and to understand how to stimulate it in the best way, thereby figuring out what you like or don’t like to do.
Can swallowing sperm cause health problems?
The only issue with swallowing semen can occur if the person with a penis has a sexually transmitted infection, since you can contract an STI through oral sex as well.
Can the hymen tear as a result of masturbation?
The hymen is a thin membrane located at the entrance of the vagina. It can be elastic and come in various shapes and sizes, so sometimes, after initial vaginal penetration, there may be a small tear and some bleeding (nothing shocking or concerning). Therefore, it is possible that even with masturbation, depending on whether it involves penetration, the hymen could tear. If the hymen is particularly rigid, even a finger could tear it, but this occurrence is rare. There are some individuals with a vagina who experience no bleeding even during their first penetrative sexual encounter because their hymen is so elastic that it undergoes no change. Therefore, it is important to understand that every hymen is different and that masturbating does not cause any long-term issues, even if a small tear may occur.
