Student Materials
The teaching materials support the learning process of motor science students and provide, for each session of the module, basic concepts and support materials for the implementation of mentoring strategies with boys and young men. The SSaMs program provides a clear framework in order to develop mentoring sessions aimed at young men, analyzing the methodology based on Positive Youth Development, the role of mentor, qualities, tasks, limitations, skills for life and the ability to set goals and results. The program also examines the mental health of young men and the mentor’s ability to nurture it by working on resilience.
