This manual is a comparative research on the status quo of gender opportunities and stereotypes existing in Europe collected in six different countries to highlight the different “images” of the phenomenon in reference to areas such as education, work, gender pay gap, film industry and musical. Manual for teachers – Activities on gender stereotypes and violence prevention
This manual was developed as part of the SAFER “Systematic Approaches for Equality of Gender” project. SAFER aims to prevent and combat gender-based violence by applying the principles of positive psychology. It proposes a systematic approach that aims to cultivate essential skills necessary not only to combat and prevent gender-based violence, but also to promote people’s psychological and emotional well-being and enable them to create healthy bonds and social relationships.

Capacity Building program on communicating with women and girls survivors in cases of gender-based violence
The Capacity Building program aims to:
• increase the awareness of professionals on how the cultural background can influence the phenomenon of gender-based violence (GBV), as well as the different aspects of disclosure and reporting of abuse or violence;
• improve the communication skills of professionals and professionals with victims and their families;
• improve the skills of professionals / and strategies to include cultural counselors as key support figures when communicating with migrant victims and their families;
• increase the exchange of ideas and strategies for multisectoral collaboration.

Cultural Consultants Curriculum – Training Program
The curriculum aims to improve the ability of cultural counselors to provide guidance to professionals working in support services dealing with sexual violence and GBV against migrant women / girls. In addition, the manual aims to provide guidelines on communication and ongoing support. The training program will allow cultural consultants to communicate and collaborate efficiently with professionals and will encourage awareness on the phenomena of sexual abuse and gender-based violence within migrant communities.
