Our initiatives
The initiatives behind The Gender Talk are built around three core areas:

Prevention & direct support
Addressing the real needs of young people through counselling services, educational activities and safe spaces for listening and support.

Empowerment & wellbeing
Providing tools, knowledge and reflective spaces to help people build safe, respectful relationships free from stereotypes.

Training & awareness-raising
Strengthening the skills of educators, families and communities, while promoting a culture of awareness, respect and prevention of gender-based violence.
These three approaches shape the projects REBOOT NOW, LoveAct and Bottom Up Talks, creating a shared body of resources, practices and tools for more accessible, inclusive and effective Comprehensive Sexuality Education.

BOTTOM UP TALKS
Bottom-Up Talks is a European project addressing teen-dating violence and gender-based violence in schools, with a strong focus on young people’s mental wellbeing.

V.O.I.C.E
V.O.I.C.E. is a European project that raises awareness of the gender care gap and promotes targeted activities for children and adults in vulnerable situations, aiming to dismantle persistent gender stereotypes and support a fair distribution of care responsibilities through a gender-transformative approach.

LoveAct
LoveAct was a European project designed to address the lack of Comprehensive Sexuality Education programmes across Europe.
It developed educational, informational and networking tools that are evidence-based, intersectional, trauma-informed, and tailored for young people, families and educators.

REBOOT NOW
REBOOT NOW was a European project focused on supporting children’s wellbeing, mental health, and safeguarding, with particular attention to preventing gender-based violence and promoting safe, respectful relationships in the aftermath of Covid-19.
