“Squirting” refers to vaginal ejaculation caused by the stimulation of the Skene’s glands (a “prostate” equivalent in people with vaginas) through penetration. Contrary to popular belief, it is not urine but a fluid response to stimulation, typically deriving from a very pleasurable sensation. Sometimes squirting is associated with orgasm and therefore the peak of pleasure, but in reality they can be two distinct and separate experiences. In fact, it is possible to experience pleasure and reach orgasm without squirting.
